During my Organic Chemistry II lab, I conducted a series of synthesis and characterization experiments, applying key organic reactions to produce and analyze various compounds. I worked with techniques such as epoxidation, esterification, Grignard addition, iodination, and reduction, gaining hands-on experience in reaction optimization and purification. Using ChemDraw and SciFinder, I designed reaction schemes and explored chemical literature to support my work. Additionally, I utilized spectroscopy (IR, NMR, UV-Vis) to determine molecular structures, reinforcing my ability to analyze and interpret experimental data. These experiences enhanced my skills in synthetic chemistry and instrumental analysis, preparing me for future research and development in the field.
